What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beautiful Me Consultant position at Hance Family Foundation?
About us:
The Hance Family Foundation honors the lives of Emma, Alyson and Katie Hance through female empowerment. Based in Floral Park, NY, we engage girls and women nationwide with our innovative Self-Esteem Rising programs that build confidence, resilience and self-worth.
Beautiful Me, our flagship program, is for girls and women ages 5-105. Each part of the program centers on a learning moment inspired by the lives of Emma, Alyson and Katie Hance and the parenting lessons shared by Jackie and Warren Hance. Girls and women benefit from a dedicated, safe space to examine how they talk about themselves, how they view their bodies and personalities and how they give and receive recognition from others.
What you’ll do:
- Support future Beautiful Me teachers virtually by watching demonstrations, providing encouraging feedback and helping trainees complete their training.
- Teach in-person across Long Island and NYC by leading Beautiful Me sessions with female participants and modeling engaging, empowering facilitation.
We’re looking for someone:
- Who loves teaching, connecting with others and helping girls and women build confidence, resilience and self-worth.
- Based in or willing to travel to Long Island or the five boroughs for in-person teaching.
- Mental health or education experience is a plus!
- Spanish-speaking is a plus!
