What are the responsibilities and job description for the DETAIL TECHNICIAN- Porsche position at Hanania Automotive Group?
Porsche is seeking a highly motived detail technician to join our team of professionals. This candidate will be responsible for the installation of both products on new car inventory and sold customer vehicles.
· Installation is to conform to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances.
· Must show attention to detail to deliver a consistent high quality installation.
· Follow Company safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, dust, harsh chemicals.
· Work in a fast-paced environment with various work schedules / days / hours of operations.
· Technical school experience is preferred.
· At least one year’s experience as a specialty tint technician in an aftermarket or Auto dealership is preferred
Qualifications:Required Skills & Abilities:
- Enthusiasm for the Automotive Dealership industry with a focus on customer service.
- The capability of operating standard shift vehicles.
- Reliable with a solid work ethic.
- High-Volume Shop Experience.
- Excels in maintaining and repairing vehicles.

- Must be able pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Experience in a dealership or similar environment.
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. regularly.
- Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed.
- Good vision to inspect repair work.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
