Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing when needed
- Serve food to guests in a courteous and efficient manner during meal service or special events like banquets
- Buss tables by clearing dishes promptly and resetting tables for new guests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent guest services
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or culinary tasks is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order management
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
- Previous banquet experience or hotel kitchen experience is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food safety, customer service, and kitchen operations
