What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR & Business Administration Intern position at Hana Mart Corp?
Salary: $19/hr - $23/hr
Responsibilities
- File, update, and organize HR related data and documents, including new hire and termination records, I-9 and W-4 forms, utilizing HRIS.
- Contact applicants and schedule in-person and online interviews.
- Complete weekly payroll reports and gather necessary information, including time-off records, timecards, and insurance-related data.
- Participate in corporate event planning to strengthen team collaboration and develop a positive workplace culture.
- Facilitate onboarding by introducing teams and explaining benefits and policies to ensure a smooth integration and create a welcoming experience.
- Assist in preparing turnover data for the quarterly employee analysis reports.
- Support regular HR check-ins with employees to address concerns.
- Research current HR trends and labor laws to update and enhance HR practices within the organization.
- Manage and process vehicle and license renewals, ensuring required regulations.
- Process purchase requests, placing orders for necessary office supplies.
- Prepare and submit monthly reimbursement resolution forms.
- Any other HR and Business Administration-related tasks not mentioned above.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in both Korean and English (required)
- Experience using Microsoft Office and HR-related software
- Degree or professional experience related to the field
