Description:Hana Engineers and Consultants, LLC is seeking to hire a full-time HR Coordinator. Reporting to the HR Generalist, this role helps ensure the smooth execution of daily HR activities and supports employee engagement efforts.Duty Location(s): Hybrid in Ashland, VAPosition Overview: Provide administrative and operational support across key human resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and general HR compliance.Primary Responsibilities:· Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate job postings and manage applicant tracking systems.· Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.· Assist in onboarding logistics: Drafting and sending offer letters, collecting documentation, setting up new hire orientations.· Employee Records & Human Resources Information Systems: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.· Enter and update employee data in the HRIS system.· Track employee changes (e.g., promotions, terminations) and ensure documentation is complete.· Benefits & Payroll Support: Assist with open enrollment and benefits-related communications.· Serve as a point of contact for employee questions about benefits and direct complex issues to the HR Generalist.· Support payroll preparation by collecting and reviewing timekeeping data and resolving discrepancies.· HR Operations & Compliance: Assist in maintaining HR policies and ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.· Help prepare reports and audits for internal or external stakeholders.· Monitor and update labor law posters and required notices.· Employee Engagement & Culture: Help coordinate employee engagement activities (e.g., events, recognition programs).· Support internal communications regarding HR programs and initiatives.Required Qualifications:· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, or related field preferred.· 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role.· Familiarity with HR systems and Microsoft Office (Sharepoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel, Outlook).· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:· Experience with Paylocity, Unanet, and/or Notion.· Knowledge of basic labor laws and HR practices.Starting pay = $47,000 - $55,000 What We OfferHana is a full-service engineering and project management firm.
