Medical Associates is currently recruiting for a Friendly, Professional, Full Time Medical Assistant with X-ray Experience that can work Mondays through Fridays 9am-5pm at our Internal Medicine practice. Seeking someone motivated and energetic for this unique role. Pay range $17-20/hour

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists physicians or licensed healthcare practitioners in ensuring a smooth patient care experience and outstanding service to patients seeking skin, hair, nail and cosmetic medical services, including, but not limited to.
- Preparing the rooms
- Pulling and maintaining charts
- Verifying documents
- Performing X-rays
- Ensuring timely service
- Greeting patients
- Obtaining and documenting patient information
- Accompanying and/or assisting the providers with procedures
- Communicating with patients, providers and other staff members
- Updating the electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Performing cleaning, sterilizing, organizing and inventory tasks
QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum Education and Experience Required)
- Minimum one year of Medical Assistant experience.
- Minimum one year of X-ray experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certificate of Completion of Medical Assistance Program, BCLS Certification, and/or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certifications preferred but not required.
