Our Dermatology clinic located in Canton Michigan is looking for a Full Time Medical Assistant with Mohs experience to join our practice. Not only will you get exposure to both medical and cosmetic procedures, but you will be joining an amazingly wonderful team. Must be open to travelling to our Brighton and Shelby Twp locations about twice a month as well.

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists physicians or licensed healthcare practitioners in ensuring a smooth patient care experience and outstanding service to patients seeking skin, hair, nail and cosmetic medical services, including, but not limited to, preparing the rooms; pulling and maintaining charts; verifying documents; ensuring timely service; greeting patients; obtaining and documenting patient information; accompanying and/or assisting the providers with procedures; communicating with patients, providers and other staff members; updating the electronic medical records (EMR) system; and performing cleaning, sterilizing, organizing and inventory tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum Education and Experience Required)
- Minimum one years of Medical Assistant experience.
- Mohs experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certificate of Completion of Medical Assistance Program, BCLS Certification, and/or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certifications preferred but not required.
