Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will be the welcoming face of our hotel during the overnight shift. This vital role combines guest relations, front desk operations, and financial reconciliation to ensure a seamless experience for our guests while maintaining the safety and security of the property. As a Night Auditor, you’ll be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and performing detailed audits of daily financial transactions. Your energetic and attentive approach will help create a warm, professional environment that encourages guest loyalty and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Manage hotel reservations efficiently, making adjustments as needed and ensuring accuracy in booking details.
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handle guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Monitor security cameras, perform property inspections, and respond promptly to any safety or emergency issues following hotel emergency procedures.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to ensure seamless communication between shifts.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing concerns promptly, resolving problems creatively, and maintaining positive client communication to foster guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to solve problems efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Exceptional communication skills over phone systems, including multi-line phones and client interaction via phone etiquette.
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently while staying alert and attentive throughout the shift.
