Job Title: Resident Assistant
Location: Moreno Valley/ Hemet
Reports To: Resident Supervisor
Pay: $17–$18 per hour
**This is for a Full-time NOC Shift Position (11p-730a) on a 4-2 Schedule (4 days on 2 days off). Candidates may need to switch between 2 locations for full-time hours.**

Position Summary
The Resident Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the mission of Hamptons Manor Recuperative Programs by ensuring all members are safe, comfortable, and supported in a clean, structured environment where they can rest and recover.
This role focuses on daily living guidance, fostering independence, and interacting with members using a positive, respectful, and empathetic approach. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and passionate about serving vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment daily
- Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks
- Encourage and assist members with basic hygiene, bathing, and maintaining cleanliness in their living areas
- Uphold and enforce House Rules at all times
Minimum Qualifications
- Passion for supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and belief in each person's ability to grow and develop self-reliance
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with the homeless population
- Ability to work sensitively and respectfully with culturally diverse individuals
- Strong conviction in the capacity of people to make positive changes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and reliability
- Ability to set and maintain healthy boundaries while supporting others
- Strong communication skills with members, coworkers, volunteers, and supervisors
- Commitment to ongoing growth in knowledge and skills relevant to service delivery
- Valid California Driver's License, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Full understanding of program requirements
- Successful completion of all required background checks
