Weekends | Registered Nurse (RN)
Hampton Place Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dependable RN Weekend Supervisor to provide nursing leadership and oversight of our clinical team on weekends.
This position is ideal for an RN who is confident making decisions, supporting staff, communicating with residents and families, and helping ensure the facility runs smoothly throughout the weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide weekend supervision and support for nursing staff and CNAs
- Round throughout the facility and monitor resident care
- Support nurses with changes in condition, physician notifications, and clinical concerns
- Address resident and family concerns as needed
- Ensure documentation, treatments, medications, and nursing procedures are completed appropriately
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Respond to employee injuries, incidents, grievances, and other weekend issues
- Reinforce facility policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Assist with staffing, call-ins, and coverage needs
- Communicate significant issues and follow-up needs to the DON and nursing leadership
- Step in clinically when necessary to support the nursing team
Qualifications:
- Current Arkansas RN license or compact licsense in good standing
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable attendance and consistent weekend availability
