Hampton Lake is looking for a new Banquets Coordinator!
Position Summary
The Banquets Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing banquet and event functions from initial inquiry through event completion. This role ensures seamless communication between clients, sales teams, kitchen staff, and banquet operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Essential Responsibilities
* Serve as the main point of contact for all banquet inquiries and confirmed events.
* Assist clients in selecting menus, room setups, timelines, and event details.
* Prepare and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure accuracy of all event specifications.
* Conduct pre-event meetings with clients and internal teams when needed.
* Coordinate event timelines, staffing needs, décor, AV requirements, and special requests.
* Assist with billing, post-event summaries, and client follow-ups.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or banquet operations preferred.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Proficiency in event management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during event oversight.
* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed for event setup assistance.
Pay Rate based on experience.
