Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and specialty equipment such as folding units, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, linens and towels with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines, workstations, and storage spaces.
- Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals used in cleaning processes.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low.
- Support general cleaning duties across the hotel or facility to uphold hygiene standards.
- Ensure all laundry procedures comply with health regulations and company policies for quality control.
Skills
- Proven experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and pressing garments.
- Familiarity with cleaning processes and equipment is a plus.
