Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hotel team. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and inviting guest rooms and public areas to ensure an excellent guest experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows cleanliness standards, and works efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards (making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, etc.)
- Replace linens, towels, and room amenities as needed
- Ensure all rooms are properly stocked and organized
- Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to management promptly
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift/push housekeeping equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction
Pay: From $11.00 per hour
