Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Houseperson/ Cleaner, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming and spotless environment for guests and staff alike. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the property, ensuring all areas are pristine, organized, and inviting. Your proactive approach will contribute to an exceptional guest experience and uphold the high standards of our hospitality environment. This is a fulltime position and includes weekends. Must be able to work independently. Looking for 3 evening shifts form 3PM-11PM and two Morning shifts on Saturday and Sunday form 7AM-3PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care to ensure safety and visual appeal.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness for guest needs.
• Assist with laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
• Support overall housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating with colleagues to meet daily cleanliness goals efficiently.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within hospitality or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and consistency.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
