- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain high standards of floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing different types of flooring.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guest needs.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Handle special cleaning projects including industrial cleaning tasks or deep cleans as scheduled or required.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution.
- Support housekeeping management in inventory control and ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is highly desirable.
- Previous hotel experience or custodial background will be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
