The kitchen Team Lead enthusiastically leads and motivates the Kitchen Crew and other staff to ensure the highest quality food is used and served in all guest meals. The Kitchen Manager ensures the consistency of great food promptly served at our restaurant.?
Responsibilities:
· Follows sanitation standards and procedures complying with legal regulations.
· Assists the Manager in overseeing the restaurant operations P&L, monitoring production output and food costs.
· Maintains ongoing proper food inventory levels.?
· Follows company guidelines on vendor relationships.?
· Assists the Manager in developing and implementing menu sales promotions and ensures the success of the promotions.
· Assists the Manager with the recruiting and hiring of Kitchen Crew and Utility Staff.
· Assists with ordering and maintenance of all food and paper inventories.
· Assures that all safety and security procedures are followed within the restaurant.
Qualifications:
· Kitchen and Line Cook experience.
· Has held responsible positions as Prep or Line Cook.
· Ability to train, guide, and lead staff.
· Ability to work flexible hours.
· Good problem-solving techniques.
· Good interpersonal skills and works well with a team.
· Good organization and time management skills.?
· Reliable transportation.
· Willing and available to work evenings and some weekends.
· Willing to be certified in applicable food safety courses required by the state of MN
