What you will be doing
- Be responsible for the overall cleanliness of our guest rooms.
- Be detail-oriented by reporting maintenance deficiencies on a daily basis as needed to maintain the room in compliance with standards.
- Duties include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, removing trash, removing used linen/towels, special projects, and washing windows to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
- Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
- Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day, before your shift ends each day.
- Respond to special requests made by guests.
- Assist housekeeping operations as a whole, including laundry and linen/trash removal.
- Assist hotel operations by aiding front desk, maintenance, and breakfast.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate with guest requests and respond accordingly in a Friendly, Authentic, Caring, and Thoughtful way.
- Must be flexible to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
- 16 years of age or older
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Able to move, lift, and carry large objects up to 50 lbs.
- Physical ability to push cart, lift mattress corners to tuck sheets
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat, kneel, or stand for long periods of time
- Physically operate cleaning equipment
