Duties
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and well-stocked throughout service
- Assist with food preparation, including heating food to safety standards, replenishing buffet items, and preparing waffle mix.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area by cleaning tables, counters, and equipment regularly
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food handling and preparation tasks
- Greet guests warmly in person, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when applicable
- Follow food safety management protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or food service environments preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and handle weight in the workplace comfortably
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Culinary or hospitality experience is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
