Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Manage Toast POS (Point of Sale) system to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cashing out guests, balancing registers, and managing cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
• Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible service and prevent over-serving.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights, including catering events, banquets, or nightclub shifts.
• Keep track of inventory levels for beverages and supplies, assisting with stock replenishment as needed.
• Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service to ensure guest safety.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to serve multiple guests promptly during peak hours.
• Contribute to a lively atmosphere by supporting event setups such as private parties or special functions.
• Stay informed about menu updates, brewing techniques, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable service.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Proven ability to operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly within the guidelines of local regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced environments effectively.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as catering or banquets.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management and sales tracking is a plus.
