Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the property, ensuring an inviting atmosphere for all guests. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold our high standards of hospitality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties across public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, stocking supplies, etc.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces or meeting rooms as needed
• Support housekeeping staff by removing linens and trash.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance or cleaning needs and report issues promptly
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment for guests and staff
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by maintaining a tidy, welcoming environment at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of custodial practices within industrial or commercial settings
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
