The Hampton Inn & Suites Fresno Northwest is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Representative. As a Front Desk Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel. This is a Full-Time or Part-Time position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily guest transactions, including room charges, taxes, and other miscellaneous charges.
- Verify the accuracy of guest accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight shifts with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and efficient manner, providing exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the premises throughout the night.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports, including occupancy, revenue, and other relevant data.
- Assist in other front desk duties, such as answering phone calls, making reservations, and providing information about hotel facilities and services.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless transition between shifts.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry or night audit position.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers and financial data.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with guests professionally.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
