Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces with meticulous attention to detail.
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing to keep all surfaces looking their best.
- Handle laundry duties for linens, towels, and guest clothing with efficiency and care.
- Follow established safety and sanitation procedures to promote a healthy environment for guests and staff alike.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial tools.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
