Position Summary
We are hiring a Front Desk Associate to provide exceptional, courteous, and professional service to our guests. This role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
- Deliver outstanding service to guests at all times.
- Promptly and effectively address guest complaints and requests.
- Manage check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and friendliness.
- Accurately post guest charges, process payments, and handle cash and credit cards in adherence to company and brand standards.
- Process guest mail and messages in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of room availability, rates, amenities, packages, promotions, and discount codes.
- Efficiently manage reservations and special requests.
- Answer incoming calls with proper telephone etiquette.
- Coordinate room assignments and monitor availability.
- Ensure the Front Desk and lobby areas remain clean and presentable at all times.
- Handle requests for wake-up calls and other guest services.
- Follow established safety and security procedures, as well as emergency protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members through proper documentation and logbook updates.
- Keep maintenance teams informed of any issues requiring attention.
- Assist in handling lost and found inquiries.
- Adhere to uniform and appearance standards as outlined by company policy.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and work rules established by the company, including those in the employee handbook.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move luggage or packages weighing up to 40 pounds.
