Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management and customer service, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service from check-in to check-out. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Supervise front desk staff and ensure smooth daily operations, including scheduling and training new employees.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy, fostering positive guest relations.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide guests with accurate information.
  • Oversee the night audit process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • Utilize multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls effectively while providing excellent phone etiquette.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area that reflects the hotel's standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations, including night audit procedures.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and experience handling multi-line phone systems.
  • Previous experience in resort settings is a plus, along with knowledge of guest relations best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
