Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, HVAC units, and facility infrastructure using schematics and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment utilizing tools such as ohmmeters and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting tasks as needed to maintain facility appearance and safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to diagnose issues accurately.
- Operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for repairs or maintenance support.
- Lead or support team members in manufacturing or facilities environments with leadership skills and supervision experience.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and conducting routine safety inspections.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
- Hands-on electrical experience, including troubleshooting circuits and wiring using schematics and ohmmeters.
- Skilled in welding techniques for repair and fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting.
- Experience reading technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management and documentation.
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance or manufacturing setting is preferred.
