Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team in Snyder, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, guest rooms, equipment, and building systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff. The candidate must be able to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and repair common plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, and appliance issues.
• Inspect guest rooms, common areas, equipment, and building systems to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and management.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
• Identify potential problems and report major repairs or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk staff to address guest-room maintenance needs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with applicable building and equipment standards.
• Assist with painting, minor renovations, and general property upkeep as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow through on assignments.
• Basic computer skills for documenting work orders and maintenance activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide professional customer service.
• Hotel maintenance experience and relevant technical certifications are a plus.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
