Newly opened Hampton Inn looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about hospitality and willing to learn and lead hotel operations. The candidate oversees all aspects of the hotel operations, including guest relations (SALT, guest assistant) front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, finances, teambuilding, staff development, and all matters related to brand standards and regulation. Responsible for all phases of hotel management, including sales and marketing, human resources, revenue management, and budgeting/forecasting. Empowers associates to provide superior customer care to guests, associates, and other visitors. We are looking for an individual who is proactive and a problem solver. Will take on any and all special projects or tasks related to hotel operations as directed by management.
Essential Duties:
- Recruits, selects, trains, and manages employees to deliver superior guest services and quality products that will lead to maximizing revenue and profitability goals.
- Creates and maintains customer-driven operations, empowering hotel staff to excel in superior customer care.
· Creates and implements policies and procedures as needed and as directed by owners
- Creates new programs in response to market conditions and revenue opportunities.
· Adheres to all brand standards and brand rules and regulations
- Protects the hotel’s financial assets by properly administering policies and procedures for handling cash, credit cards, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and all other financial transactions. Also, properly administers policies and procedures for protecting the safety of guests and employees.
- Prepares monthly reports for management – including weekly conference calls with ownership to go over revenue management, staffing, STR reports, Medallia (GSS and QA) and any other reports directed by management.
- Ensures regular assessment and review of all hotel personnel by appropriate management staff.
· Coordinates internal training and development programs.
· Responding to all incidents and issues related to employees, guests, and the property.
· Maintains efficient hotel operations including all purchasing and ordering, sufficient inventories and anticipating hotel needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
