Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Guest Service Agent with experience to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining smooth hotel operations during the evening and overnight hours. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills and a passion for exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform front desk duties, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions and guest accounts
- Verify and balance daily revenue from room charges, food and beverage sales, and other miscellaneous charges
- Prepare comprehensive daily reports summarizing hotel operations and financial activities
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out during evening shifts
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions
- Monitor security cameras, reporting any suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum of one-year Front Desk experience (Hilton experience preferred)
- Previous customer service or hospitality industry experience
- Familiarity with guest service and front desk procedures is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in hotel phone systems and relevant computer software (Hilton systems preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Fundamentals:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Hospitality background preferred
- Ability to operate general office equipment and hotel-specific software, including cash registers
- Effective and courteous communication skills over phone and in person
- Ability to occasionally lift luggage up to 50 pounds
