Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests at the Hampton Inn by Hilton, Redmond Bend Airport. In this dynamic role, you will deliver exceptional guest services, manage front desk operations, and ensure a seamless check-in and check-out experience. At the moment, we are only offering this position in a part-time capacity (16-24 hours per week). That being said, once all trainings have been completed in full and performance has reached a consistently high level, there will be frequent opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

REQUIRED: Weekend availability is a must!

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
  • Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person with excellent phone etiquette and clear communication.
  • Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and special requests to enhance their stay experience.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly and property is kept in pristine condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details using hotel management software.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to resolve issues effectively.
  • Uphold security procedures by monitoring access points and ensuring the safety of all guests and staff.
  • Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to create an inviting environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality or customer service roles; hotel or resort experience is highly preferred.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a significant advantage for communicating with an increasingly diverse clientele base.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest relations.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during both busy and slow periods.
  • Knowledge of front desk operations, reservation systems, and hospitality software is desirable.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism with excellent phone etiquette at all times.
  • Previous restaurant or guest services experience is beneficial for understanding hospitality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
