Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to hotel standards.
- Ensure all floor care tasks are completed using appropriate equipment for carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and spot cleaning as needed.
- Follow established health and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management to ensure timely repairs and uphold quality standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during scheduled intervals or as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial work, industrial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation practices, and use of cleaning equipment.
- Experience in hospitality or custodial services demonstrates an understanding of guest service expectations.
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy objects when necessary.
