North Phoenix mid sized hotel is seeking a person skilled in carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, pool/spa maintenance and minor electrical.
North Phoenix mid sized hotel is seeking a person skilled in carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, pool/spa maintenance and minor electrical.
We are looking for an individual that has an array of skills to do general maintenance at our hotel. We will keep you busy and if you prefer working on projects by yourself, this job is for you. This is a full time position and working weekends are required. Great job for a retiree!
Responsibilities:
- This position will be inside hotel rooms, inside common areas of the hotel and outside on the grounds of the property
- Will perform work outdoors at the pool and spa area and parking lot lights as needed. some minor irrigation repairs may be necessary
- Work in hotel rooms, hotel public areas and back office areas repairing and replacing items as necessary
- Perform and provide exceptional quality work and services
- Perform work in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications:
- Flexible shift, 7AM-3 generally but can change as business dictates
- Must be able to work outdoors in hot/cold weather
- Able to lift, stand, carry tools and equipment
- Pull trash from around hotel, able to lift heavy weight up to head level
- Have some previous experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC pool/spa care and electrical work
- General maintenance and repair knowledge
- Lift, push, pull or move up to 75 lbs
- Walk extensively, ability to walk stairs
- Able to work as a team with a positive attitude
