We are seeking a dependable, motivated individual to work part time as a Carpet Cleaner and Maintenance Assistant.
We are seeking a dependable, motivated individual to work part time as a Carpet Cleaner and Engineering Assistant. This position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn, takes pride in doing quality work, and gets the opportunity to serve others.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean carpets and upholstered surfaces using approved equipment and products.
- Prepare work areas, move light furniture or materials as needed, and maintain a safe, orderly workspace.
- Clean, inspect, and properly store tools and equipment after use.
- Assist the engineering team with basic tasks, maintenance support, material handling, and project preparation under supervision.
- Follow safety procedures and instructions.
- Provide support outside the department when business needs require it.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED.
Six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read & write in English, perform mathematical computations such as adding, multiplying.
Ability to effectively communicate with guests, utilizing tact & diplomacy and solve practical problems.
General Skills: knowledge and experience of general carpentry, exterior finishing, interior finishing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, FF&E, landscaping, and information systems technology.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, talk, and listen. The employee is required to be on feet for large portion of the day/shift. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch; reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle or feel tools or controls; must be able to lift and/or move heavy objects such as tables and cases of food and beverages. Must be able to focus on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs and carrying items weighing 25-50 pounds.

- A flexible schedule can vary from week to week; you must be available to work on weekends and holidays.
