Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and specialty machines efficiently and safely
- Sort linens, and other textiles according to type and cleaning requirements
- Perform washing, drying, folding, of laundry items to meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized
- Assist with inventory management of linens and cleaning supplies
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in laundry processes
- Collaborate with housekeeping or hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and textiles
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including dry cleaning is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during shifts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as required
