What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Representative position at Hampton Inn Lehighton?
Our fully renovated, award winning, Hampton Inn Lehighton is looking for front desk agents to join our team!
The ideal candidate has a customer service background; must welcome and serve guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone.
They must demonstrate good computer skills, accurately handle cash and credit card charges, stand for long periods of time, present a friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service oriented demeanor.
The qualified candidate we seek will serve as the main point of contact and will act in a proactive manner regarding all guest requests and needs, and must be able to properly follow up on any requests.
Responsible for checking guests into and out of the hotel.
Posts charges to guestrooms, verifies credit cards, balances bank at the end of the shift. Excellent communication, phone, computer and hospitality skills are a must.
The qualified candidate must be able to multitask effectively and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Weekend availability is a must for this position!
Experience preferred but not essential, the right attitude and appearance can win you an excellent position with our company.
