Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, linens, and supplies to meet guest needs and expectations
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest comfort
- Adhere to all company policies regarding sanitation standards, security procedures, and confidentiality
- Assist with additional janitorial tasks or special cleaning projects as needed to support overall facility upkeep
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, and buffing for various flooring types
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale cleaning operations
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
