The Hampton Inn Hailey Sun Valley is a welcoming, independently owned hotel in the heart of Hailey, Idaho. We're looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Part-Time Front Desk Associate to join our team.
This role is central to creating a positive guest experience from the moment someone walks through our doors. You'll work closely with management and housekeeping, anticipate guest needs, and ensure smooth daily operations. We're seeking someone who brings genuine warmth to every interaction, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in getting the details right.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist all hotel guests upon arrival and departure
- Manage check-in/check-out processes, including coding room keys, confirming reservations, and providing guests with everything they need to settle in comfortably
- Process payments accurately, including credit and debit cards, and maintain accurate guest records
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of room types, rates, packages, and local area attractions to answer guest questions confidently
- Look for opportunities to enhance each guest's stay by promoting hotel services and amenities
- Handle guest concerns with patience, empathy, and effective service recovery
- Assist with breakfast service and light housekeeping support when needed
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a welcoming and well-organized hotel environment
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and think on your feet
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable with basic computer systems and handling payments
- Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
