Job Summary

As a Housekeeping Attendant, your primary responsibility will be ensuring our guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and welcoming while maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality our guests expect.

While this position will primarily focus on guest room housekeeping, there may be opportunities for cross-training in other hotel departments, including Public Area Attendant, Laundry Attendant, and Breakfast Attendant, based on operational needs, individual interests, and demonstrated abilities.

Primary Responsibilities – Housekeeping

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to Hilton and Hampton Inn brand standards.
• Make beds, change linens, clean bathrooms, dust furniture, vacuum floors, and sanitize high-touch surfaces.
• Replenish guest room amenities, towels, toiletries, and supplies.
• Inspect assigned rooms for cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and missing or damaged items.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and guest concerns promptly to management.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, cleaning equipment, storage areas, and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, sanitation guidelines, and workplace safety practices.
• Complete assigned guest rooms efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Respect guest privacy, personal belongings, and hotel confidentiality standards.
• Work cooperatively with housekeeping, front desk, maintenance, and management to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests.

Potential Cross-Training Opportunities

Depending on hotel needs and individual performance, team members may have the opportunity to receive training and assist in additional departments.

Public Area Attendant

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the hotel lobby, hallways, elevators, public restrooms, fitness center, and other shared spaces.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, furniture, and common areas.
• Assist with maintaining clean and welcoming hotel entrances and outdoor guest areas.

Laundry Attendant

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain linen inventory and assist with distributing clean linens to housekeeping.
• Keep laundry and storage areas clean and organized.

Breakfast Attendant

• Assist with preparing, setting up, and maintaining our complimentary breakfast service.
• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Replenish breakfast items, beverages, and supplies throughout service.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with breakfast cleanup and preparation for the following day.

Cross-training opportunities are not guaranteed and will be determined by hotel operational needs, scheduling, and individual performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous hotel housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, comfortable spaces.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned responsibilities efficiently.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent work schedule.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions, cleaning procedures, and established safety guidelines.
• Friendly, professional communication skills when interacting with guests and coworkers.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn additional responsibilities when needed.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to overall team success.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive movements throughout scheduled shifts.
• Ability to push and maneuver housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move linens, supplies, and equipment as required.
• Ability to perform physically active cleaning duties while following established safety procedures.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
