A&R Group is preparing to open the new Hampton Inn Gulfport in April 2026, and we are hiring friendly, energetic Breakfast Attendants to help deliver an exceptional morning experience for our guests. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy guest interaction, take pride in presentation and cleanliness, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Both full‑time and part‑time positions are available.
Role Overview
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, stocking, and maintaining the hotel’s complimentary breakfast each morning. This position requires strong customer‑service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up the daily breakfast buffet according to brand and company standards
- Monitor, cook, and restock all breakfast items throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean and organized buffet and dining area; wipe tables as guests depart
- Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation procedures, including glove use and frequent handwashing
- Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained at all times
- Stock paper goods, utensils, plates, bowls, and other supplies
- Clean and sanitize service lines, beverage equipment, and other assigned areas
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest questions, concerns, and special requests
- Communicate safety or service issues to management in a timely manner
- Complete all closing duties as assigned
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Serve as a Brand Ambassador for A&R Group’s culture, mission, and values
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous food & beverage experience preferred but not required
- High energy, self‑motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong customer‑service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized
- Adaptable, dependable, and committed to delivering excellent guest service
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the hotel for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
- Basic math skills for portioning and inventory counts
- Professional, ethical, and a strong team player
Working Conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Repetitive movements of shoulders, elbows, and hands
- Ability to push, pull, and carry moderate weight
- Use of kitchen equipment, warming units, and cleaning supplies
