• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to uphold high standards of hygiene.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively for various surfaces such as carpets, floors, and furniture.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors regularly.
• Implement proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs or requests.
• Follow established janitorial and custodial procedures to ensure all spaces meet health and safety standards.
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within designated schedules while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with outdoor work as needed, including patio or balcony cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance.
• Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and dusters.
• Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts.
• Experience in laundry services and outdoor surface maintenance is a plus.
