Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a fresh and inviting atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support overall hygiene standards
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards
- Follow all health and safety protocols related to cleaning procedures and chemical handling to protect yourself and guests
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods while maintaining high-quality service
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a proactive attitude
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning equipment and floor care methods
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and janitorial best practices to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Experience managing multiple cleaning tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas of the hotel
- Ability to follow instructions precisely while working independently or as part of a team
- Able to work Saturdays and Sundays
