Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing supplies.
• Perform detailed bathroom cleaning, including disinfecting sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs with proper sanitation procedures.
• Handle laundry services efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and common spaces through sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to infection control standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
• Conduct window cleaning and pressure washing tasks to ensure exterior visibility is pristine.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities like floor care using specialized equipment for polishing or deep cleaning.
• Support heavy lifting activities when moving furniture or supplies while following manual handling safety guidelines.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and stored properly for optimal use.

Skills

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
• Skilled in using various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, pressure washers, and chemical dispensers.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safe chemical handling techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during room setup or supply movement.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach towards guests and team members.
• Experience with laundry services including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal.
• Familiarity with window cleaning techniques and pressure washing for exterior maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure every room meets high cleanliness standards.
