Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our establishment. This position is essential for ensuring that all laundry services meet the high standards expected in a hospitality environment. Previous hotel experience is preferred, as it will enhance the understanding of our operational needs.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently, ensuring proper loading and unloading procedures are followed.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established protocols.
• Inspect items for stains or damage prior to processing and report any issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and work surfaces.
• Ensure that all laundry supplies are stocked and report low inventory levels to management.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling chemicals and operating equipment.
• Assist with any additional tasks as required by management to support overall operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is highly desirable.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina is required, as the role involves standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
