Job Summary:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a key role in supporting the General Manager with the daily operations of the hotel, focusing on exceptional guest service, staff supervision, and maintaining brand standards. This position primarily covers the 3 PM – 11 PM shift for most of the week and includes oversight of the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support day-to-day hotel operations across all departments.
· Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to concerns and resolving issues promptly.
· Interview, hire, train, and supervise front desk staff.
· Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory, and supplies.
· Ensure compliance with Hilton/Hampton Inn brand standards and policies.
· Step in as acting General Manager in their absence.
Qualifications:
· 1–3 years of hotel or hospitality supervisory experience required.
· Prior experience with Hilton systems PEP (preferred).
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
