Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by performing regular janitorial tasks.
• Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality.
• Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to enhance guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing linens and guest clothing items.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred; experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards within hospitality settings.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or equipment.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
