Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a fresh environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring types.
• Handle laundry duties by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold safety standards.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures and chemical handling to protect yourself and guests.
• Assist with inventory management by stocking cleaning supplies and equipment in designated storage areas.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Familiarity with hotel operations or experience working within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks using specialized equipment for large-scale or deep-cleaning projects.
• Excellent custodial skills combined with attention to detail to ensure every space meets cleanliness standards.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
