Hampton Inn and Suites / Home2 Suites by Hilton Durham University Medical Center, is an award winning hotel located in Durham, NC. We are looking to fill a full-time position on our Front Office Team. Hours for the position we are currently hiring for would be 3P-11P.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Front Desk Agent is to provide friendly, efficient registration, guest settlement, and information to all guests, fellow employees and visitors.

- Always provide our guests with extraordinary customer service
- Anticipate guests service needs
- Communicate with other departments to ensure that our guests receive the best service
- Check guests in/out of the hotel in a courteous & timely manner
- Process new reservations, make changes to existing reservations & payments
- Team player/self-starter/able to work independently & with others
- Knowledge of the surrounding area.
- Articulately communicate both verbally and in writing
- Detail-oriented, great organization, great multi-tasking skills
- Professional attitude, and expectations
- Positive and upbeat attitude and demeanor
- Recognizes & resolves problems quickly efficiently, able to seek help when necessary
- Works with the public in a calm, courteous, friendly, and professional manner
- The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Candidates must be available to work floating hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays to be considered for employment. Flexible, open availability is favorable.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
