Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness standards across all hotel areas.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring timely completion of daily tasks and special projects.
• Oversee floor care operations, including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of hard surfaces to ensure pristine conditions.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to verify quality standards are met consistently.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, ensuring cost-effective usage and timely replenishment.
• Enforce safety protocols related to janitorial and industrial cleaning procedures to protect staff and guests alike.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities around guest check-ins/check-outs and special events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial leadership within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise a diverse team effectively.
• Familiarity with janitorial practices, safety regulations, and hospitality standards.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience with hotel operations or hospitality management is highly preferred.
