Hotel Director of Sales and Marketing

Job Summary

Regional Director of Sales and Marketing.

Your main duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Being directly accountable for setting the sales and marketing strategy and delivering the Hotels’ revenues, including group rooms, banquets, catering, business transient, and leisure transient segments;
• Working with the General Managers to ensure that business review guidelines and group pricing and rate quotation strategies are in place to maximize all pricing components of sales and catering opportunities and achieving positive group market share;
• Supporting Hotel B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and communications activities.
• Guiding the e-commerce teams to ensure online Hotel content is accurate and effective;
• Working with the General Managers to establish optimal business mix, reviewing and validating revenue forecasts to improve accuracy while developing strategies for different demand periods, and reviewing and approving retail and group pricing strategies;
• Working with team members to ensure profits are maximized in line with the set targets;
• Developing and executing departmental expense budget and forecasts;
• Developing and maintaining detailed and real-time knowledge of all competitor and market activity;
• Responsible for executing the sales and catering sales incentive program;
• Leading weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and marketing optimization processes for the Hotels;
• Converting the outcome of the optimization process into actionable business strategies and articulating those strategies;
• Contributing to the annual commercial cadence communication regarding current realities of performance and performance drivers on a monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual basis;
• Consistently conforming to brand standards and corporate identity and utilizing all communication tools;
• Responsible for recruiting and retaining all sales and marketing roles;
• Leading, engaging, and developing team members, including ongoing performance development and career development plans;
• Conducting performance reviews for all direct reports and providing feedback for dotted line reports, including but not limited to: Group Sales, Business Transient Sales, Leisure Sales, Catering Sales, Marketing;
• Facilitating and leading in a culture that is aligned with Manga's enterprise goals;
• Maintaining a high level of engagement with customers from all sales segments;
• Supporting the team’s high-impact site visits and pre-convention meetings;
• Supporting sales managers' travel into feeder markets;
• Responding to all sales leads or delegating within timeline protocols; and
• Performing such other duties as assigned by the General Manager or their designate

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
