What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Tehnician position at HAMPTON HALL CLUB INC?
Job Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will possess strong general facilities maintenance skills; including, but not limited to:
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Electrical – 120/240 volt single and three phase
- Interior and exterior painting
- Carpentry
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Appliance repair
- Plumbing
- Sprinkler and fire alarm systems
Physical Demands:
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
- Most of the day spent standing, much of which is on concrete floors
- Comfortable with heights
Knowledge, Education, and Abilities:
- High school diploma and trade school, or equivalent required
- A valid SC driver’s license
- Three years maintenance technician experience or related field preferred
- Certificate in HVAC and EPA Certification, building maintenance technology, plumbing or relevant field desirable
- Ability to safely follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers
- Ability to contribute to a total team effort
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and respect
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments
- Be available for after-hours and weekend-on-call duties as requested
