The Hampton-Dumont Community School District has an opening for a Technology Assistant for the 2025-2026 school year.
The successful candidate will be required to support education professionals, students and staff. The support will include, but is not limited to; gathering information needed for troubleshooting, utilizing problem solving skills to find a solution, implementation of fixes, provide proper documentation and communication to the client. The assistant is required to work with a self-directed and service-oriented attitude. The assistant will be able to execute small projects on his/her own and work with the Technology Director in planning and executing larger projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Help desk support
- Install, repair and maintain technical equipment hardware and software
- Basic networking skills, wiring, switch work and wireless
- Have knowledge or ability to pick up software skills easily
- Basic coding understanding
- Willing to learn new technologies
- Other duties as assigned
